Many times when people think of United Way, they think of a fund raising campaign. But as you browse through our United Way, you will find that it doesn't have nearly as much to do with money as it does caring and people.
The United Way is at the forefront in building a stronger, healthier, more compassionate community. Our strength comes from our local presence and intimate understanding of our community - with the benefits of the reach, depth and breadth of a nation-wide movement.
- Volunteers - local people from all walks of life who serve without pay to raise and distribute United Way funds
- Volunteers serve on the Board of Directors setting all policies for the United Way of Jay County
- Volunteers serve on the Allocation Panels directing funds to programs and services where they are most needed in our communities
